Director Shankar, who has been tight-lipped so far about his action-packed sci-fi Tamil film ENTHIRAN starring superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, reveals that the movie is almost finished and has lots of surprises in story for the audience. “‘Endhiran’ is almost complete. 90 percent of the shooting is over.

“Endhiran Unit just finished the action sequences of the film ‘Endhiran’ in Pune, Bombay and Lonawala. both the leading artists of the film were present during the shooting.  A year ago SUN PICTURES  taken surreptitiously during the shooting of a song in Peru in South America were released and Shankar had protested, saying it was a pirated work.

The first half of ‘Endhiran’ is full of surprises. The second half is a roller coaster ride. Being made on a budget of Rs.125 crore, the film has hogged the limelight since it was launched. Sun Pictures is producing it. Shankar, whose “Sivaji” was released on June 15 in 2007, may Big screen “Endhiran” in April or June this year.

ரஜினிகாந்த்- ஷங்கர் கூட்டணியில் உருவாகும் மெகா படைப்பான எந்திரன் – தி ரோபோ படத்தின் பாடல் என்ற பெயரில் ஒரு ஆடியோ ஃபைல் இணைய தளங்களில் உலா வரத் துவங்கியுள்ளது. படம் வெளியாகும் முன்பே அதை இணைய தளங்களில் லீக் செய்வது வாடிக்கையாகிவிட்டது.

முன்பு சிவாஜி படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்புக் காட்சிகள், பாடல்கள் அனைத்தும் படம் வருவதற்கு சில மாதங்களுக்கு முன்பே ஆன்லைனில் லீக்காகி பரபரப்பேற்படுத்தின. தரம் மோசமாக இருந்தாலும், முன் கூட்டிய படத்தின் பாடல்களை தெரிந்து கொள்வதில் உள்ள த்ரில் காரணமாக பலரும் இவற்றை டவுன்லோடு செய்து வந்தனர்.

இந்த பப்ளிசிட்டியைப் பார்த்த கவுதம் மேனன் போன்ற சில இயக்குநர்கள் இதனை ஒரு விளம்பர உத்தியாகவே பயன்படுத்த ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டனர். வாரணம் ஆயிரம், விண்ணத் தாண்டி வருவாயா படங்களில் இதை பெரும் பப்ளிசிட்டியாக்க முயன்றார் அவர். ( சரத்குமாரின் ஜக்குபாய் சமாச்சாரம் இதில் சோராதுங்ணா!) இந் நிலையில் இப்போது மீண்டும் ரஜினியின் எந்திரன் பட பரபரப்பு ஆரம்பித்துள்ளது. முதலில் பெருவில் எடுக்கப்பட்ட எந்திரன் படப்பிடிப்பு காட்சிகளின் வீடியோவை உலாவிட்டவர்கள், இப்போது, அதன் ஆடியோ என்று ஒரு பாடலை லீக் செய்துள்ளனர்.

‘என் உயிரிடம் ஒரு கேள்வியைக் கேட்டேன்…’ என்று ஆரம்பிக்கும் இந்தப் பாடல் 3.16 நிமிடங்கள் ஒலிக்கிறது. இந்தப் பாடலின் ஒலி (பாடகர் குரல்) தெளிவாக இல்லை. ரஹ்மான் ட்ராக் பாடியதை அப்படியே எடுத்து இணையத்தில் விட்டுவிட்டார்களோ எனும் அளவுக்குதான் உள்ளது.

Rajini shoots, traffic stops

When I will arrive, or how I will arrive, nobody will know, but I will arrive when I ought to,” declared Rajinikanth in Muthu. The Pune public obviously didn’t figure in the his mind at that point.

It was peak hour on Monday morning and traffic near Harris Bridge was bad. Well, peak hour usually means bad traffic, but this was worse. It wasn’t ordinary traffic either. But then, to most people causing the traffic, it wasn’t an ordinary day.

Hundreds of bystanders had gathered to get a glimpse of Rajinikanth. The superstar of Tamil movies was in town for a shooting that was supposed to begin on the subway at Harris Bridge around 8 am, but a large number of onlookers had gathered at the bridge since 7 am.

The traffic situation worsened with motorists halting on the bridge and joining the crowd to have a glimpse of the film stars, spilling on to the Mumbai-Pune highway.

After receiving a tip off about the problem, traffic police sent reinforcements to the spot to streamline the traffic flow. The policemen finally managed to make way for vehicles and the traffic that had come to a standstill for over an hour began moving at a snail’s pace.

The crowd cheered as Rajinikanth waved his hands at the crowd during the lunch break around 2 pm. Thankfully, there was no problem during peak evening hours as the shooting was over by 4 pm.
