வெளியில் வந்த ரஜினியிடம் செய்தியாளர்கள் கேட்ட கேள்வியும் அவர் அளித்த பதில்களும்:

என் மகள் சௌந்தர்யா நிச்சயதார்த்தத்திற்கு முதல்வர் குடும்பத்தோடு வந்து ஆசி வழங்கினார். அவருக்கு நன்றி தெரிவிப்பதற்காக நேரில் வந்தேன்.

எந்திரன் படம் எப்போது வெளியாகும்?

படத்தின் சில தொழில்நுட்ப வேலைகள் தற்போது நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன. ஜூலை மாதம் படம் வெளியாகும்.

அண்மையில் நடந்த திரைப்படத்துறை பாராட்டு விழாவில் நடிகர் அஜீத் பேசியது பற்றி உங்கள் கருத்து என்ன?

அது அவருடைய உரிமை. அவருடைய கருத்தை தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார். அதற்காக அவரை நான் பாராட்டுகிறேன். நடிகர், நடிகைகளை விழாவுக்கு வரும்படி அழைக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால்  நடிகர் – நடிகைகள் வர வேண்டும் என சங்கங்களோ, அரசியல் கட்சிகளோ வற்புறுத்தக் கூடாது. கலந்து கொள்வதும், கலந்து கொள்ளாததும் அவரவர் விருப்பம். நிர்ப்பந்தப்படுத்தி அழைக்க வேண்டிய அவசியம் இல்லை. முதல்வர் கருணாநிதி பல்வேறு போராட்டங்களை சந்தித்தவர். அவர் யாரையும் நிர்ப்பந்தம் செய்து அழைக்க வேண்டிய அவசியம் இல்லை.

60 வயதிலும் கதாநாயகனாக நடிக்கிறீர்களே?

தமிழ் ரசிகர்கள் ஏற்றுக் கொள்வதால், அவர்கள் என் மீது அன்பு செலுத்துவதால் 60 வயதிலும் கதாநாயகனாக நடிக்க முடிகிறது என்றார் ரஜினி.

Director Shankar, who has been tight-lipped so far about his action-packed sci-fi Tamil film ENTHIRAN starring superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, reveals that the movie is almost finished and has lots of surprises in story for the audience. “‘Endhiran’ is almost complete. 90 percent of the shooting is over.

“Endhiran Unit just finished the action sequences of the film ‘Endhiran’ in Pune, Bombay and Lonawala. both the leading artists of the film were present during the shooting.  A year ago SUN PICTURES  taken surreptitiously during the shooting of a song in Peru in South America were released and Shankar had protested, saying it was a pirated work.

The first half of ‘Endhiran’ is full of surprises. The second half is a roller coaster ride. Being made on a budget of Rs.125 crore, the film has hogged the limelight since it was launched. Sun Pictures is producing it. Shankar, whose “Sivaji” was released on June 15 in 2007, may Big screen “Endhiran” in April or June this year.
